Before installing L-Connect 3, you should note.

Enhance compatibility for L-Connect 3 with Windows

1. We recommend installing the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable to prevent a blue screen from appearing during the installation process of L-Connect 3. Alternatively, after successfully installing L-Connect 3, the software may fail to execute.

2. Please check the installation details.

Product Setup Guides

SL Wireless & TL Wireless
  1. Install your UNI FAN SL Wireless / TL Wireless Series into your PC.
  2. Download the latest version of L-Connect 3.
  3. Shut down and reboot the system.
  4. If your UNI FAN SL Wireles / TL Wireless Series are plugged into motherboard's PWM headers, please go to Bios and switch them to PWM fan and full speed mode for more stable power delivery.
  5. If your fans are showing signs of insufficient power, please use the 1 to 3 PWM to SATA cable instead. We also suggest you to use the SATA cable if you're planning on having the fans run static color on high brightness. The SATA cable can be found in the wireless fan 3 packs or L-Wireless controller single pack.
  6. Open up L-Connect 3 and check if all of your products are on the latest firmware. If not, please update through L-Connect 3. If update fails. please
    manually update the firmware.
Hydroshift AIO
  1. Make sure updating the latest firmware
GAII LCD
  1. Connect the USB type C cable to the motherboard 9-pin USB header directly or use Lian Li USB 2.0 1-to-3 HUB, using another splitter is not recommended due to insufficient power.
  2. Update the firmware to v1.4 by going to L-Connect 3 > Settings > update > check > download. If firmware update status remains at “the 100% loading” for over 1 min, please close L-Connect 3 and reboot it. Starting to update firmware again.If the progress remains at 0 for over 1 min. Please try manually firmware update. (Download tool)
  3. Make sure that your system is connected to wifi or internet before updating firmware.
TL (non wireless)
  1. Make sure to update TL series controller to 0.62 version in L-connect 3 by going to settings ➔ update ➔ download
  2. Connect TL LCD fans on controller port 2, 3, 4 only. Hydroshift AIO users please follow the manual.
  3. Controller should be plugged directly into the motherboard. For additional USB-connected products, please use the LIAN LI USB 2.0 1-to-3 (Type A male port) splitter. Refer to tutorial video
  4. When connecting 7 or more TL fans in a daisy chain, ensure RPM stability by using an additional power adapter connected to SATA. This adapter is exclusively included in the TL Triple pack.
  5. Please update TL LCD firmware if you are encountering JPG file or rotation function unable to memory, follow guide.
L-Connect 3

After the software update, if the display of AIO or fan, or TL controller is not recognized by the software, please replug the controller and restart the L-Connect Background Service.
