UNIFAN SL120 POSSIBLE DEFECTIVE LED ISSUE

UNI FAN SL120 POSSIBLE DEFECTIVE BLUE LED CHIP NOTICE

Please note that some UNI FAN SL120s (white and black) produced between December 2020 and March 2021 may have been manufactured with a defective blue LED IC. LEDs are made with red, green, and blue diodes. The defective blue LED IC can cause the blue diode to deteriorate over time, resulting in dimmer LEDs and a yellowing coloration when trying to attempt the static white light effect. We would like to reassure everyone that this issue is of no danger to your fan or any other parts of your computer.

Blue LEDs used in UNIFAN SL120 manufactured after March 2021 have been redesigned with higher temperature tolerance to fix this problem. Steps have been taken to improve the quality control over our fan production and to prevent similar issues from happening in the future. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your continued support.
