Reliable USB Hierarchy

EDGE Hub ADV connect directly to the motherboard’s USB 3.0 header through its USB 2.0 signal path, placing the hub higher in the device tree to reduce hub layers and ensure reliable connectivity across multiple USB devices.

Note: A standard USB 2.0 9-pin cable is also included for direct connection to a motherboard USB 2.0 header.

6 × 2A PWM FAN PORTS

Six 4-pin PWM fan connectors, each rated up to 2A, centralize fan connectivity and control for high-density multi-fan setups.

Note: For UNI FAN FLEX Series fans used with this hub, connect the fan motherboard sync cable to the motherboard PWM header to ensure proper fan operation and enable motherboard fan speed synchronization.

Maximized USB Expansion

EDGE Hub ADV and EDGE Hub V2 feature four USB ports with 1-to-2 signal splitting. EDGE Hub V2 supports eight downstream signals, while EDGE Hub ADV supports seven, reserving one channel for GPU connector thermal monitoring—ideal for multi-LCD and USB-rich builds.

FLEXIBLE POWER OPTIONS

Connect EDGE Hub ADV directly to an EDGE or RS Series PSU, or power it independently via a PCIe 8-pin cable for use with any PSU.

Advanced Temperature Management

EDGE Hub ADV monitors up to two 12V-2×6 GPU connectors and the hub’s PCB ambient sensor.L-Connect 3 displays real-time readings and temperature history for a complete thermal overview.This clearly distinguishes localized connector heat from overall system temperature.

Note: The 1350W model comes with an EDGE Hub ADV. The hub includes one 12V-2×6 cable with a built-in temperature sensor and features two temperature sensor inputs for monitoring GPU power connector temperatures.

EDGE HUB ADV THERMAL ALARM

Users can set a temperature threshold in L-Connect 3 for real-time 12V-2×6 connector monitoring. When the preset temperature is reached, an on-screen warning appears and a shutdown countdown is triggered.

If no action is taken before the countdown ends, the system automatically shuts down, while an email notification keeps the user informed even when away from the PC.

PER-PORT TRANSFER
MONITORING

Monitor each USB port’s current transfer rate and accumulated data transfer over a one-hour period, making it easier to identify high-load devices and redistribute connections for more balanced bandwidth usage.

OVERLOAD ALERTS

Built-in high-load notifications help identify excessive USB traffic before it affects connected devices, allowing users to move high-load devices to another port and better balance the hub.

TOTAL HUB UTILIZATION

The MB Signal Port displays the hub’s upstream transfer activity, while port utilization provides an overview of the hub’s total bandwidth usage. Users can reference this data to evaluate the current USB load and adjust device connections or system setup as needed.

CUSTOM PORT NAMING

Each USB port can be renamed according to the connected device, making controllers, LCDs, AIOs, and other components easy to identify directly in L-Connect 3 without opening the case to trace connections.
