AUTO PWM DETECTION
All UNI FAN Wireless can now instantly be recognized as PWM fans, eliminating the need for BIOS configuration.
In the past, PWM signals and RPM monitoring relied on the L-Wireless controller connected to a PWM port to read fan speeds for all fans in the system. With the upgraded 4-pin receiver, no extra cables from the L-Wireless controller are needed. Each fan group can be individually detected and controlled, enabling precise RPM tuning and a cleaner, more efficient build.
ALREADY STANDARD IN THE LATEST MODELS
The upgraded 4-pin receiver module comes pre-installed with the new UNI FAN WIRELESS Series
DUAL POWER DELIVERY
Equipped with a dual-connector tail PWM cable, the 4-pin receiver module delivers improved power and stability. The secondary connector can be used with either a motherboard PWM header or the included 1-to-3 SATA adapter to provide additional power when needed.
1-to-3 SATA adapter cable
WHEN TO USE THE 2-PIN POWER CABLE AND SATA?
If the fan flashes white or has fan speed running up and down, this indicates insufficient power from the motherboard header. In such cases, connect the 2-pin cable to the SATA splitter for more power, or plug the 2-pin cable to a PWM port.
RPM MONITORING AND SYNC VIA MOTHERBOARD
With added PWM signal support, each UNI FAN Wireless fan group’s speed can be monitored and adjusted directly through the motherboard’s BIOS or fan control software.
Why Upgrade? 2-PIN vs. 4-PIN Receiver Key Advantages
| Feature | 2-PIN Receiver | 4-PIN Receiver |
| BIOS detection of PWM fans | ❌ Not detected directly by BIOS, relies on controller | ✅ Directly detected by BIOS |
| Fan speed adjustment | ❌ Only one fan speed for the entire system, controlled via the L-wireless controller. | ✅ Fan groups can have independent speeds, controlled directly |
| If power is insufficient | 🔹 Adjust PWM mode in BIOS or connect via SATA 1-to-3 cable | 🔹 Connect the tail cable to another PWM header or use a SATA 1-to-3 splitter |
