Intel Core Ultra 200 “Arrow Lake” Platform: LIAN LI Liquid Coolers Maintain Compatibility with New LGA 1851 Socket
As Intel continues to push the boundaries of desktop computing, the release of the Core Ultra 200 series, also known as the “Arrow Lake” platform, is set to be a major milestone in processor technology. Alongside this new generation of CPUs, Intel is introducing a new socket, the LGA 1851, which will replace the previous LGA 1700 socket found on 12th and 13th Gen Intel processors. The LGA 1851 socket will be seen on the upcoming Z890 motherboard chipset.

Despite being a new socket, LGA 1851 retains the same physical dimensions and cooler mounting hole spacing as the LGA 1700 socket. This means that the new Arrow Lake CPUs and Z890 motherboards will not require new mounting solutions for cooling.
