UNI FAN TL Series
● After setting the fan order and clicking APPLY, the LIANLI logo does not appear.
● The fan numbers in the L-CONNECT3 software are duplicated.
● UNI FAN TL causing high CPU usage.
● The RPM display on the UNI FAN TL LCD is inaccurate.

If UNI FAN TL's controller is suddenly showing up as an "Unknown Device" under "Universal Serial Bus controller" or when L-Connect 3 suddenly cannot detect TL controller:
- Physically disconnect the controller from the computer.
- Remove all controller info from all Device Manager categories.
- Shut down the computer.
- Re-connect the controller, and let Windows re-discover it.

3. Select Setting → TL LCD Screen→Reset all in L-CONNECT3.


UNI FAN TL causing high CPU usage.
The RPM display on the UNI FAN TL LCD is inaccurate.
One or more of my UNI FAN TL LCD screens is not functioning (e.g., only displaying the LIAN LI logo, or L-Connect 3 doesn’t fully recognize the fan).
- Ensure that all cables are properly connected. Try switching the order of the fans to check if the issue is related to the connection.
- Update to the latest version of L-Connect 3 and reorder the screen positions as needed.
How many TL controllers or TL LCD fans can be connected?
The number of fans or controllers you can connect is related to the motherboard and the USB port used. Please refer to the connection guide for detailed information.
How many TL LCD can be connected?
The LEDs will flash occasionally.
Please update the firmware with bellow tool to solve the issue.
- Download and extract file
- Execute firmware update tool, click “Upgrade”
- The TL controller firmware version will be V1.00.59.
The fan signal is abnormal, causing the LCD screen to loose display occationally or the LED strips not fully illuminated.
Please loosen the screws of the fan for the signal to pass through successfully.
TL LCD and the controller lose the USB connection time to time.
TL LCD screen is flickering
If your TL LCD screen is flickering, we recommend that you download the latest driver from Nvidia or AMD’s chip manufacturer.
One of LCD screen is not displaying after FW update.
- Ensure that it is connected to port 2/3/4 on the controller.
- If it doesn’t work, remove the power cable and connect it directly to the fan that is not displaying. Start to do FW update for single fan again.
Connected more than 7 TL fans to a port, the fan speed isn't stablize and the white color LED turns yellow.
UNI FAN TL LCD screen is laggy and sometime flashes.
The L-Connect 3 doesn't detect TL series fans.
- Ensure that you are using version v2.X.X.
- Make sure to connect the USB 2.0 9-PIN of TL controller directly to the motherboard, do not use a splitter.
- Make sure that the connector of the TL LCD fan is connect to the pin side.

Unable to control the TL LCD screen suddenly.
• L-Connect 3 not able to control, screen may display in
• All black
• Frozen
• Stop at LIAN LI logo
Fix Steps
1. Search for [Service]
2. Click[Run as administrator]

3. Right Click [L-Connect Background Service]
4. Click [Start]

5. Start L-Connect 3 again
6. L-Connect 3 and GA II LCD works now
