Once the Lancool 207 Digital is installed, the L-Connect 3 software will automatically detect the hardware. Please click on the 'Lancool 207 Digital' option in the left-hand menu to access the control interface.

Present the specified theme on the hardware

Predefined theme to change the background

Select a theme and click "Change Background Button".

If you do not select a theme first, the "Change Background" button will not work.

Steps to Upload JPG/ PNG image

The upload category selection window pops up, allowing you to upload videos and pictures from your PC, capture desktop screen and recordings directly, or enter the editor function.Here is the introduction

" Upload Animations(Auto-Fill) "or "Upload image (Auto-Fill)"

Select theme 'Upload Animations(Auto-Fill)'or "Upload image (Auto-Fill)", click 'Add' at the right menu

Both of these options will bring up a Windows window that allows you to select the local file of your computer.

If the scale of these two options does not match the screen, they will be filled automatically.

Upload Materials & editing

Click this option to import L3's built-in editor function, which provides the function to crop the display ratio of pictures and videos.

Upon entering the editor, the following screen will be displayed

The green box shows a range that can be scaled up or dragged around.

Select Import to import into the Template and close the editing interface at the same time.

HomeClick Apply to display on hardware

Click Edit for advanced editing and adjusting the filter effect.

Upload MP4 Video File

Step 1 ) Select theme 'Image Video', click 'Add' at the right menu

Step 2) Upload MP4 with the option to 1. edit the video length, image area, 2. or let the video fill the screen without editing.

Step 3 ) Option 1, for example, after uploading the mp4, you will enter the following editing interface

Step 4 ) Drag the point at the 2 corners of the green box to crop the capture area. The minimum size is 1742x720 pixels (optimal resolution for the LCD screen). The software will automatically resize it to the standard 480 pixels for larger image.

Step 5 ) Clicking the center of the green capture box and dragging it to capture position. Able to preview the output of the LCD screen display.

Step 6 ) Click play to check how it looks in the capture area and preview the video length

Step 7 ) After checking the video, pause at the time to start recording.

Step 8 ) Click 'Rec' to start recording, video will play and pause as record.

Step 9 ) Can pause the record, the video will pause as the same time to avoid recording the pause scene.

Step 10 ) When recording is paused, can move the capture area and timeline to continue recording

Step 11 ) Click 'Rec' again and you will see the timer continue to run, means that the video is recording.

Step 12 ) Click the checkmark icon to confirm the video is done recording. Can be clicked during record or done recording.

Step 13 ) Click 'Import'' to import video to L-Connect 3, or 'Cancel' to start over the recording

Step 14 ) Software will convert the video quality to 480 x 480 pixel (the optimal resolution for the LCD screen) when importing. It will take some time to resize, wait to load to 100% and the import process is done.

The L3 interface will disappear during the loading of the video, and will be restored when the loading is complete.

Import done! The video will appear on the Lancool 207 Digital screen directly. At the same time, the video will show in the material library.

The Image/Video function allows user not only to upload and edit photos and videos themselves but also to capture images and videos using the built-in screen capture tool. Display your favorite anime characters, movie stars, or personal family and pet photos—freely view them all on the LCD screen

Back to Default Background

Select a topic whose background has been changed, the "Back to Default" button will be lit, you can click it to specify the topic to go back to the default style.

Import External Topics

Clicking on it brings up a Windows window where you can upload an externally downloaded theme template.

Currently, only the file extension *.template format is supported.

Custom theme

Image/Video

Click Add to pop up the upload upload category selection window, picture and video material upload and editing process with Template to change the background.

The difference is that after the editing window is closed, the uploaded clips will be displayed in the clip library area, and you can click on the clips to apply or delete them.

New Pixel Features

You can select any picture to perform the pixelation effect.

Note: You have to upload the material in the Picture and Image area before you can proceed with the Theme info and Modular application.

Theme info

To apply the Theme info, you need to click on one of the templates first.Then click Add to display the template on the right Template creation edit screen.

Go to the Layout area to adjust the font style and colour of the Theme info template. If you want to update the options, please click Update to update the right side display style.

Tap Apply to display on the hardware.

Modular

Select Modular and click Add. The object will appear in the right editing area and in the rightmost layer list.

When multiple Modular styles are added, you can use the rightmost layer list to select the target to edit or delete.

Here Modular, except for the colour version, can be zoomed in and out using the scroll wheel and dragged by clicking on the target using the rightmost layer list.

Modular size and position can be adjusted parametrically by clicking on Proprietary (multi-colour does not resize).

Modular is divided into four categories and corresponds to different Layout Adjustment Modes.

Running to the Theme info, Modular can click "Save as Template" and the saved template will be presented on the Template page.

Select the appropriate interface based on the actual hardware installation orientation (both interfaces follow similar operational procedures, but their assets are not interchangeable).

Render the template on the hardware

Change Template Background

Select any template, then click Change background to choose and upload a background image.

When the image/video database contains content and is applied to the background, the content of the editing area can be saved to the Template page in both the Theme info and Modular pages.

Save your custom templates to view them on the homepage.

Modular操作

Select any object within the modular section, click Add, and the object will be added to the editing area on the right.

Select any Modular object from the list on the right to access the Layout page, where you can customize the data source, color, and font.

Use the Properties page to adjust position and size. You can also use the mouse wheel to zoom and drag the mouse to adjust position and size.

Portrait Mode

You can select portrait mode from the options available when you first enter the device.

You can also tap the circled instructions at the bottom to switch from landscape to portrait mode.

To switch between the Screen Control and Lighting Effects pages, tap the bottom-left corner to dismiss this prompt.

When entering portrait mode, the basic operations are the same as in landscape mode.

Vertical-Hardware Display Style

The key difference is that here you can use a separate window to enlarge the synchronized display.

The standalone pop-up window can be resized by dragging its edges with the mouse.

In the Custom Theme editing area, you can also click the zoom button to enlarge the editing area, enhancing the fluidity of the editing process.

Portrait-Image/Video

The buttons on the pop-up window correspond to the operational functions of the L3 software.
