WHAT IS CARBON FIBER?
Carbon fiber is composed of very thin strands of the element carbon that are tightly woven together to form a strong yet lightweight fabric. Each fiber is 5-10 microns in diameter, making it 8 times thinner than an average human hair
The O11D EVO RGB Automobili Lamborghini Edition utilizes a 45-degree knit carbon fiber, ensuring superior strength and a distinctive aesthetic.

HANDCRAFTED PRECISION
Creating the carbon fiber components for the O11D EVO RGB Automobili Lamborghini Edition involves meticulous handcrafting under controlled environmental conditions, considering both humidity and temperature.
The manufacturing process includes several complex steps to ensure the highest quality and durability:

  1. Forming the carbon fiber fabric: The raw carbon fiber material is composed and shaped for molding
  2. Applying resin to the fiber: Resin is applied to bond the fibers of the cloth together, giving the carbon fiber its remarkable strength.
  3. Vacuum bagging and heating the carbon fiber: The components are placed in a vacuum bag and heated to accelerate the curing process.
  4. Flattening the carbon fiber: Make sure that the fiber is nice and flat for the use
  5. Sanding the resin: Each layer is sanded to ensure there are no bubbles, dust, or uneven surfaces, creating a smooth finish.
  6. Applying and sanding another 10 layers of resin: To enhance the look and durability of the carbon fiber.
  7. Cutting and shaping the elements: The parts are shaped, and holes are cut out as needed to fit the components
  8. Polishing the parts: Each angle are polished to add a touch of shine, ensuring a premium finish.
  9. Inspecting all the side: Each part is thoroughly inspected to ensure all details are perfect before assembling the chassis.
